I have a Faxon nitrided pencil barrel. The ammo it likes best is IMI 77 grain Razercore. With that, it is a sub 2 MOA barrel, with everything else it is a 2-3.5 MOA barrel. The Faxon nitride pencil barrel is THE lightest pencil barrel out there. A 16" midlength is just a sidge over 18 oz.As alluded to, there are different methods for nitriding at varying costs.
